College: Scott Hodges attended Oklahoma Christian University from 2001-2005 and was a member of the Men’s Basketball Team all 4 years. He was a part of the 2005 Sooner Athletic Conference Championship team that advanced to the Sweet 16 of the National Tournament. While at Oklahoma Christian, Hodges earned his Bachelors in Secondary Education. In 2012, he completed his Master’s Degree in Education Administration from Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
Coaching Career: Scott Hodges began his coaching career at Westmoore High School 16 years ago. The first 3 years were as an assistant under current Mustang Director of Athletics, Robert Foreman. Coach Hodges coached the Jaguars for 10 years and left as the winningest basketball coach in school history. In 2017, Coach Hodges led the Westmoore Jaguars to the 6A Boys Basketball State Tournament for the first time in 20 years. Coach Hodges takes pride in his student athlete’s performance off the court as well as his teams have achieved the Oklahoma Secondary Schools Athletic Association Distinguished Academic Achievement Award of a 3.5 grade point average or higher the last 6 years in a row (2016-2022). In 2022 the Mustang Boys Basketball Team was named the Class 6A Academic State Champions.
